he former lead singer of Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force, and Deep Purple, powerhouse vocalist Joe Lynn Turner delivers his first new album in five years called Second Hand Life - The Deluxe Edition. It is his first for Friday Music and we are so very proud to be a part of his continuing legendary career.

This album comes with three new bonus tracks, two only available on hard-to-find releases overseas, plus one unique track nowhere else but on the compact disc version of this incredible new album.

Things kick off with the rockin’ “Your Love Is Life”. Amazing hooks, strong Turner vocalizing and dazzling guitar work from his longtime guitarist Karl Cochran thrill the listener as to what is in store for the rest of the entire disc.

The title track, “Second Hand Life” written with his good friend Jim Peterik (Survivor) continue the tradition of classic rock sounds as only JLT can offer- with a strong chorus, a skillful rhythm section with Karl Cochran on guitar, co-producer Bob Held on bass , Michael Cartellone on drums, and Gary Corbett rounding things off on keys.

A nice surprise awaits the Deep Purple and Rainbow fans with a new tune composed by Ritchie Blackmore, Roger Glover, Jim Peterik and JLT called “Stroke Of Midnight” With the time honored stamp of genius from this powerful songwriting crew, this track has all the elements you would expect and more. Well worth the price of admission.

More hard rocking tracks like “Blood Red Sky”, “Off The Hook” and the sultry “Cruel” will please his ever growing fan base, both old and new alike. This is some amazing stuff folks, guaranteed to please.

As a special treat, JLT has gone to the vaults and has found a very rare version of his classic “Freedom’s Wings”, only available as a bonus track on this new compact disc. It is just one of many surprises that will leave you wanting to hear this album more and more.
