Additional Details

1972 brought us the debut album from superstars Daryl Hall and John Oates "Whole Oats" which featured a number of classic favorites from their early days like "Fall In Philadelphia" and "Lily, Are You Really Happy"

The soul infused collection was produced by the late great Arif Mardin (Aretha
Franklin/Rascals) and features even more classic cuts like "Lazy Man" and the power ballad "Waterwheel" The album would establish the duo as a force on radio and soon became major hitmakers with their huge follow up "Abandoned Luncheonette" (soon to be released on Friday Music 180 Gram Vinyl).

Their third album "War Babies" was a progressive rock and soul spectacular, produced by fellow Philadelphian and Rock Hall of Famer Todd Rundgren. Featuring some of their finerst rock tracks like "Is It A Star?'" "War Baby Son Of Zorro" and "Better Watch Your Back" the album increased their record buying public and soon enough they would become worldwide superstars ranking them as the most records sold rock duo of all time.

Friday Music welcomes back this super limited edition deluxe 2 CD collection, which
features all of the original album graphics, liner notes, plus commentary from Daryl and John.
