As we continue to honor and celebrate Gordon Lightfoot's six decades of classic songs and albums, Friday Music is proud to be a part of the celebration with one of his greatest masterworks "Summertime Dream."
"Summertime Dream" would go on to become one of his most famous and revered albums thanks to the Grammy nominated global smash hits single "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald."
The masterwork also included more Lightfoot classics like "Race Among The Ruins" "Never To Close" "I'd Do It Again" and of course the uptempo country rocker "Summertime Dream."
Produced by Gordon Lightfoot and Lenny Waronker, "Summertime Dream" would go on to become one of Gordon Lightfoot’s biggest selling albums of the his career.

Mastered impeccably by Joe Reagoso (Gordon Lightfoot/Peter Paul & Mary) from the original Reprise Records tapes at Friday Music Studios, and pressed on first time ever super limited Champagne mock up, this fine revisit will be one of the more anticipated classic singer/songwriter albums in the vinyl domain in some time.
