The Monkees' Micky Dolenz was always one to interpret and make hit singles from some of the greatest contemporary writers of the time like Harry Nilsson, Neil Diamond, Neil Sedaka and Carole King. In 2010 he put together a tribute album to Carole King and called it "King For A Day"

The 14 song masterwork includes her biggest hits sung by her dear friend Micky Dolenz like The Animals "Don't Bring Me Down", The Drifters "Up On The Roof" The 4 seasons "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" and even The Monkees "Sometime in The Morning"
